The Broadway Performance Hall is one of the busiest theatres in Seattle. Despite its 295 seat capacity, its 270 performances a year bring in more than 40,000 people. It is located on the southern end of the Seattle Central Community College campus, at the northwest corner of Broadway and Pine in Capitol Hill's business district.

Its doors opened in 1911 as an addition to Broadway High School, which later became the home of Seattle Central Community College. The theatre was renovated in 1979, but the Broadway High School's permanent art collection is still on display in the upper lobby, and can be viewed during intermissions.

No other medium-sized professional rental space in Seattle is capable of accommodating the wide range of events presented at the Broadway Performance Hall. These include 35MM and 16MM film and video presentations, lectures and seminars, drama, dance, and music performances. The location, variety, and intimacy of the theatre, along with its historical art gallery help to make it the most popular theatre of its size in Seattle.
