A man awakes from a dream convinced he has committed a murder. He finds evidence that suggests the nightmare was in fact reality, which draws his detective brother-in-law (the ever-dependable Robinson) in to investigate. A superb FILM NOIR study of paranoia, based on a Cornell Woolrich story.
