Creativity flourishes in the face of limitations, and nowhere is that more evident than in SIFF’s Fly Filmmaking Challenge. Three filmmakers (Sue Corcoran, Thom Harp, T.J. Martin) have dodged the flies in the ointment and crafted highly entertaining narrative shorts. Capturing the process in an engaging documentary were local filmmakers Andrew McAllister and Alex Simmons. Come see what the buzz is about.

At the World Premiere screening on May 29, join us as David Schmader, STRANGER columnist and the world’s foremost authority on Paul Verhoeven’s SHOWGIRLS, will be hosting a live critique with the Fly Filmmakers and three prominent critics.
