Promotions/Community Outreach Intern (March - June)
Interns should be Macintosh computer literate, have excellent writing and communication skills and be very flexible with a sense of humor. Valid drivers license and vehicle a plus. Some weekend work may be required.
Fluency in a foreign language is a definite plus in this department.
In the Promotions department interns will:

Work with Promotions Manager and Promotions Assistant to
fulfill objectives for grassroots community outreach |
• |
Assist with distribution and tracking promotional materials
including posters, festival guides and flyers |
• |
Deliver group tickets and promotional tickets to media and promotional partners
and track records for distribution of ad media and promotional materials |
• |
Assist with print ad production and design on creation of festival flyers and their
distribution |
• |
Help create outreach programs for K-12 students |
• |
Act as a liaison between the Festival and schools |
• |
Create teacher materials for specific screenings |
• |
Act as a liaison between Festival and community group leaders and organizations in
regards to specific films |
